Even with a some of our quilters spending the weekend at a quilt retreat, we were able to put in a productive day. Even had a new face in the crowd. The sewing machines were humming and the conversations were flowing with lots of laughter. Always love the moments spent with fellow quilters and enjoying a shared passion for the cotton fibers.

Brenda (new face in the crowd) showing off her completed quilt top for a baby quilt she was working on.

Brenda also showed off the awesome way she was learning all of the decorative stitches on her new sewing machine. A fun apron when she is all done.

Joann had a wonderful tool caddy by her machine that she made and we were all admiring it. Silly me oohh and aahhed over it and forgot to take a picture of it to share. lol!

Frossie completed two more of these cute little duffle bags for presents she is making ahead. These are the same fabric using both sides. She also worked on her Churn Dash blocks for the block exchange. Here is a link to the block pattern we are using for the block exchange:  http://www.quilterscache.com/C/ChurnDashBlock.html

Andrea worked on parts of her caterpillar quilt she is making for an upcoming baby. She embroideried the center circle on each of these flannel circles that she cut out to give it a little more pizzazz!

Vicky worked on these wonderful no sew blankets for her family. The force is always with her!! lol!

I worked on my blocks for the Aurifil Block of the Month through Pat Sloan. Here is her facebook quilting community comprised of quilters from all over the world sharing all kinds of wonderful projects, ideas and fellowship: https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/groups/QuiltWithPatSloan/

In closing: Live life like you will never run out of fabric!!

Your scrappy stitcher in heart,

Theresa
