My mother was going through her photo albums and came across these two pictures of quilts that my Great Aunt Evelyn made. I love finding pictures like these. I knew she quilted, but hadn't seen anything she had done. She has been gone for awhile now and don't know where these beautiful treasures ended up.

This Necktie Quilt made into Grandmother's Fan pattern was made in 1991. She used my Uncle Adrian's ties. When this photo was taken, she was not quite through quilting it - on the bottom at left.

This is her Monkey Wrench quilt finished in 1990. On the wall is a small hanging she made the winter before.
